This law meets in the State legislature of the Paran. The social assistant comes in such a way, to act in set with the pedagogical team of the school and its more common functions will be: to carry through social disgnostic indicating possible alternatives to problematic the social one lived by many children and adolescents; to create programs that they aim at to the prevention (violncias, drugs, alcohol, pregnancy, etc.); to analyze and to diagnosis the causes of the social problems detected in relation the pupils, objectifying to cure them or to attenuate them; to develop contacts with the families in order to articulate school/groups of responsible parents or, making with that these families have knowledge on the pertaining to school life of its children. Through meeting, lectures or dynamic in group, to carry through visits domiciliary, with intention to know the reality partner-familiar of the pupil, and, in such a way, it to make possible one better pertaining to school development. The PERSPECTIVES OF the PERFORMANCE OF the SOCIAL ASSISTANT IN the EDUCATION ECA-Statute of Child and of the Adolescent, understands and establishes which must all be the social treatment offered to the children and adolescents of the country aiming at the protection of its rights. Art. 53.
The child and the adolescent have right to the education, aiming at to the full development of its person, preparation for the exercise of the citizenship and qualification for the work, making sure them: I – equality of conditions for the access and permanence in the school; II – right of being respected by its educators; III – right to contest avaliativos criteria, being able to appeal to the superior pertaining to school instances; IV – right of organization and participation in estudantis entities; V – access to the public and gratuitous school next to its residence. Only paragraph. He is right of the responsible parents or to have science of the pedagogical process, as well as participating of the definition of the educational proposals.
